30. November 2016 -

PAGID Racing is sole brake pad supplier for all Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Global Cup Series race cars. Nathanial “Sparky” Sparks of team “Sick Sideways” won the 2016 championship with the ideal combination of speed and consistency throughout the season.

Second and third place went to Ara Malkhassian (Team ALARA Racing) and John Dean II (Team Sick Sideways).

In November of 2014, Mazda announced at the SEMA show in Las Vegas (Nevada) its intent to create a true Global race series based on the MX-5 roadster. The first customer car was completed one year later in November 2015. Already in June, Mazda received an order for the 100th MX-5 Cup car, notably surpassing their 50-car order goal that was set for 2016. PAGID Racing is proud to be the sole supplier of brake pads for every Mazda MX-5 Global Cup Car produced.
