Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup with PAGID Racing brake performance

PAGID Racing is sole brake pad supplier for all Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Global Cup Series race cars. While the MX-5 Cup teams were competing at Road America, round five and six of the Mazda MX-5 Cup, the 100th car was ordered – a significant milestone for the new Mazda MX-5 Cup race car with PAGID Racing brake performance. Altogether, more than 70 Mazda MX-5 Cup race cars pads have been delivered in less than seven months.

In November of 2014, Mazda announced at the SEMA show in Las Vegas (Nevada) its intent to create a true Global race series based on the MX-5 roadster. The first customer car was completed one year later in November 2015 and Mazda has recently received an order for the 100th MX-5 Cup car, notably surpassing their 50-car order goal that was set for 2016. PAGID Racing is proud to be the sole supplier of brake pads for every Mazda MX-5 Global Cup Car produced.

Also recently announced was the 2016 Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Invitational race September 9-11, at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca as an invitational race including racers from Asia, Europe and the USA.

Drivers’ and teams’ titles for Liqui Moly Team Engstler in TCR Asia Series

A great success in the TCR Asia Series: Luca Engstler defended his title and is the TCR Asia Series champion again. His teammate Diego Morán rounded out the 1-2 in the drivers’ standings for Liqui Moly Team Engstler with his second place. Moreover, the long-standing PAGID Racing partner again secured the title in the teams’ classification. The Car Model of the Year Award for Hyundai crowned the successful performance.

Success in the Green Hell: Class wins and podiums at the Nürburgring 24 Hours

27. June 2019 -

PAGID Racing partners and customer teams performed strongly at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. They claimed six class victories in total at the 47th staging of the endurance classic on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The race was an eventful one, dominated by penalties, Code 60 phases, and the retirement of many of the favourites. Second place overall rounded off the strong showing in the Eifel Mountains.

Victory in WTCR: Norbert Michelisz triumphs at the Nürburgring

Norbert Michelisz took victory in the opening FIA WTCR race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife. The BRC Hyundai N Squadra Corse driver made a good start, moving to the front of the field in the first corner, before defending his lead for the rest of the race: After three laps of the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, the 34-year-old Hungarian crossed the finish line in first place in the #5 Hyundai i30 N TCR to claim his first win of the season.
