24h Race Nürburgring: A historic quadruple victory with PAGID Racing brake performance

In the 44^th running of the ADAC Zurich 24h-Rennen Nürburgring, PAGID Racing partners and customers celebrated an overwhelming quadruple victory. In extremely changeable conditions, the AMG-Team BLACK FALCON was victorious with its #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3. AMG-Team HTP Motorsport (#29 Mercedes-AMG GT3) claimed second place from the HARIBO Racing Team-AMG (#88 Mercedes-AMG GT3). Fourth place went to the #9 AMG-Team BLACK FALCON Mercedes-AMG GT3. In total, seven teams relying on PAGID Racing brake performance made it into the top ten in the classic endurance race in the Eifel.

Four additional class wins rounded out the outstanding achievement: the #64 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup of the BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction came out on top in the SP7 class and was the best-placed non-GT3 car in 15^th position overall. In class V6, the #140 Porsche 911 of the BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction proved to be the benchmark. The #354 Porsche 981 GT4 CS entered by raceunion Teichmann Racing was unbeatable in the CUP 3 class. First place in the TCR class went to mathilda racing – Team pistenkids (#201 Seat Leon TCR).

Europe: A 1-2-3 in the Nürburgring 24-hour race and further top results

For PAGID Racing, the 2018 motorsport year in the European race series was a great success. Next to the outstanding 1-2-3 in the ADAC Zurich 24h-Rennen at the Nürburgring, the teams using PAGID Racing Brake Performance were successful, among others, in the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft, the Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup, EuroFormula Open, various TCR series as well as in rally competition.

USA: Victories in Pirelli World Challenge, at Pikes Peak and in further top race series

Successful in the USA: PAGID Racing partner and customer teams shone among others with top results in Pirelli World Challenge, the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, the F3 Americas Championship and in the Thunderhill 25 Hours.

Asia: Victories at Macau and in the TCR category

In the FIA Formula 3 World Cup at Macau, PAGID Racing partner and customer teams locked out the podium: Dan Ticktum (Motopark Academy) repeated his victory from the previous year at the legendary Guia Circuit and was again crowned as the FIA Formula 3 World Champion. His teammate Joel Eriksson and Sacha Fenestraz (Carlin) claimed second and third place respectively. The Liqui Moly Team Engstler also stood out with various titles in the TCR Asia Series and in the TCR Middle East International Series.

Worldwide: Maiden victory in FIA WEC and title in FIA WTCR

A new winner: for PAGID Racing, the maiden victory of the new Aston Martin Vantage GTE at Shanghai was the FIA WEC season highlight. In the FIA World Touring Car Cup, TMD Performance GmbH’s motorsport brand also scored great achievements with 1-2s in the drivers’ and teams’ standings.

KohR Motorsports Is New Official Distributor of PAGID Racing in the United States

KohR Motorsports is a new official distributor of PAGID Racing in the United States. KohR Motorsports is a successful performance parts dealer and professional race team based out of Westland, MI. Working closely with local companies like ROUSH and Ford Performance, KohR has been pushing the boundaries of Mustang Racing for many years.

Teams’ and drivers’ titles for LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler in TCR Asia Series

16. October 2018 -

Success all the way: in the season finale of the TCR Asia Series at Shanghai International Circuit, LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler locked out the first three places in the final drivers’ standings and secured the title in the teams’ championship. Furthermore, the team claimed the Car Model of the Year award for Volkswagen. In the previous year, the team had also won the drivers’ and teams’ titles.

Spec MX-5 Challenge Opens New Opportunities For Racers

At the middle of the 2018 season, drivers participating in the new Spec MX-5 Challenge have been impressed with the racing and the support for this new U.S. series. Spec MX-5 Challenge was created to offer a bridge in the pro sports car racing ladder system between the extremely popular Spec Miata club racing series and the ultra-competitive Battery Tender Global MX-5 Cup pro series. All cars competing in the one-make cup are equipped with PAGID Racing brake pads.

Top results in IMSA racing at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park

PAGID Racing is looking back on a very successful weekend in IMSA racing at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario Canada. Mercedes-AMG Team Riley Motorsports secured victory in the GTD category in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. In the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge race, PAGID Racing customers celebrated a quadruple victory in the GS category and a 1-2 finish in the TCR class.
