Europe: a historic success in the Nürburgring 24h race and further victories

With the quadruple victory in the 2016 Nürburgring 24h race, PAGID Racing scored a historic success at the legendary Nordschleife. Further victories, among others in the European Le Mans Series and in the Spanish Tarmac rally championship turned 2016 into a year of success for PAGID Racing in European race series.

In the 44th running of the ADAC Zurich 24h-Rennen Nürburgring, PAGID Racing partners and customers celebrated an overwhelming quadruple victory. In extremely changeable conditions, the AMG-Team BLACK FALCON was victorious with its #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3. AMG-Team HTP Motorsport claimed second place from the HARIBO Racing Team-AMG, fourth place went to the #9 AMG-Team BLACK FALCON Mercedes-AMG GT3. In total, seven teams relying on PAGID Racing brake performance made it into the top ten.

In the European Le Mans Series, the LMGTE class title went to Team Beechdean. A strong performance in the 4 Hours of Estoril was enough for Andrew Howard, Alex MacDowall und Darren Turner (#99 Beechdean AMR V8 Vantage GTE) to wrap up the title.

Team RMC’s Cristian García showed a convincing performance in the Spanish Tarmac Rally Championship. With his Mitsubishi Evo X R4 with PAGID Racing brake pads, he already secured himself the drivers’ title with two rounds remaining.

On top of that, there are numerous other competition achievements, among others by Team 75 Bernhard and the AMG-Team Zakspeed in the ADAC GT Masters, success in the FIM Sidecar World Championship and in the ADAC Rallye Masters with Gassner Motorsport’s Hermann Gaßner.
