12. October 2015 -

Hofor Racing has reason to cheer: The PAGID Racing customer has celebrated two overall classification wins in the 2015 24-Hour Series. With that, the Swiss team is pleased to look back on a positive season in the hard-fought endurance racing series.

In the total of six events, Hofor Racing, which cooperates with the German team Küpper Racing in the 24-Hour Series, has finished on podium each time. In the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 equipped with PAGID Racing high-performance brake pads, drivers Michael Kroll/Chantal Kroll/Roland Eggimann/Christiaan Frankenhout/Kenneth Heyer clinched overall victory on the challenging track at Zandvoort. In addition, the GT3 sports car painted in red and white finished on podium in the Mugello 12 Hours and the Barcelona 24 Hours in the overall classifications.

The season of the second race car of the German-Swiss entry supported by Widberg Motorsport was successful too. The BMW E46 M3 Coupé that uses high-performance brake pads from PAGID Racing as well clinched class victories in both the Dubai 24 Hours and the Paul Ricard 24 Hours. At Mugello, Zandvoort and in the season finale, the Brno 12 Hours, the sports car managed the leap to second place in class, with drivers Bernd Küpper, Chantal Kroll, Martin Kroll, Sarah Toniutti, Lars Zander and Hal Prewitt at the wheel this season.

Following a total of six events, Chantal Kroll is heading the drivers’ overall standings as well as class A6. In the ‘Ladies Cup’ classification, Kroll holds an uncontested top spot with a 51-point advantage. On the way to achieving her triumph, the driver of the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG GT3 fitted with PAGID Racing high-performance brake pads scored the maximum number of points in the rounds in Dubai and at Paul Ricard. She also contested in the Hofor-Kueperracing BMW E46 M3 Coupé in the A5 class.

The Creventic 24-Hour Series is an endurance racing series featuring 12-hour or 24-hour races that comprised six rounds in the 2015 series. Following the season opener in Dubai, the series held its races on tradition-steeped European tracks such as Mugello, Zandvoort, Paul Ricard, Barcelona and Brno.
