PAGID Racing Customer Teams Leading Major US Championships

With approximately half the Pirelli World Challenge season completed and only one third done for the IMSA series, PAGID Racing customers are looking strong this 2017 season. IMSA Weathertech SportsCar Series GTD team Riley Motorsports Mercedes AMG GT3 of Ben Keating and Jeroen Bleekemoelen is holding a solid lead in the championship at 133 pts (24 up on 2nd).

USA: 230 moments of success for PAGID Racing

PAGID Racing can look back upon a rather successful motorsport season in the USA. Teams relying on PAGID Racing brake performance managed to score 67 victories and 157 podium finishes in the year 2016. Moreover, they racked up six championship titles. In total, PAGID Racing thus had 230 moments of success in the USA in 2016.

Europe: a historic success in the Nürburgring 24h race and further victories

With the quadruple victory in the 2016 Nürburgring 24h race, PAGID Racing scored a historic success at the legendary Nordschleife. Further victories, among others in the European Le Mans Series and in the Spanish Tarmac rally championship turned 2016 into a year of success for PAGID Racing in European race series.

Worldwide: Titles for Mattias Ekström/EKS and Aston Martin Racing

Champions rely on PAGID Racing. The double title win by Mattias Ekström and his Team EKS in the FIA World Rally Championship as well as first place for Aston Martin Racing in the FIA WEC are only two from the many highlights the 2016 motorsport year had in store.

PAGID RBD: New applications for touring car racing

From now on, PAGID Racing Brake Discs (PAGID RBD) are also available for numerous TCR cars. The new performant competition brake discs with a diameter of 378 mm are the perfect choice for TCR class machinery.

Success in FIM Sidecar World Championship

A 1-2 for PAGID Racing customers in the FIM Sidecar World Championship: Pekka Päivärinta/Kirsi Kainulainen clinched the world championship title while Tim Reeves/Grégory Cluze were runners-up. In other categories, teams were also successful with PAGID Racing brake performance.

Two world championship titles for Aston Martin Racing in FIA WEC

A great success for Aston Martin Racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship (FIA WEC): in the season finale at Bahrain, the team sealed the world championship titles in both the GT Pro teams’ classification and in the GT drivers’ standings.

Mattias Ekström and EKS: double world champion

07. December 2016 -

Victory for Mattias Ekström in the drivers’ standings and first place in the teams’ classification – that is the successful record for PAGID Racing partner EKS in the 2016 FIA World Rallycross Championship. Prior to the season finale, Mattias Ekström had already secured himself the drivers’ world championship title. Together with team-mate Toomas Heikkinen, he also sealed the title in the teams’ standings for his outfit during the season finale.

From December 8 till 10, 2016, PRI Indianapolis will be open for visitors. PAGID Racing will be present with its own booth (No. 4633) at the important trade show for New Racing Technology at the Indiana Convention Center (USA).
