New WorldSBK Safety Car with PAGID Racing brake performance

The Hyundai i30 Fastback N is the new Official Safety Car of the 2019 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK). The specially customized i30 N is equipped with PAGID Racing brake pads for maximum stopping power.

The i30 Fastback N safety car stands out with a livery derived from Hyundai’s i20 World Rally Championship car. The modification of the i30 Fastback N Safety Car was limited to only the essential parts of its duty. The PAGID Racing Endurance Racing brake pads RSL 2 ensure the car delivers maximum track performance and stopping power.

The RSL 2 compounds are now also available for the Hyundai i30 N with the shape numbers 7034 (Front) and 7035 (Rear). They can be found in the PAGID Racing product search at bit.ly/PAGID_Racing_Product_Search.

The new WorldSBK Safety Car made its public debut in Australia at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, venue of the first event of the 32nd season in which the world’s fastest production-based motorbikes are competing. The next event will be held at Imola (May 10-12).

Worldwide: Victories in FIA WEC and in the 24H Series

What a year for Aston Martin Racing in the FIA WEC! After its Pro class victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the team went on to win the drivers’ and teams’ titles in the GTE Am class. Hofor Racing’s victories in the 24H Series also largely contributed to making 2017 a successful year for PAGID Racing.

Asia: Victories in Macau and in the TCR Asia Series

Victory and third place in the FIA GT World Cup Macau and a clean sweep of the top three in the FIA F3 World Cup Macau – PAGID Racing customers were successful all the way at the legendary Guia Circuit in Macau. PAGID Racing Partner Liqui Moly Team Engstler ended up as the best team in the TCR Asia Series whilst also celebrating the drivers’ title for Kantadhee Kusiri.

Europe: Top results in FIA Formula 3 European Championship and further achievements

PAGID Racing is looking back upon a successful motorsport year in European series. Team Carlin’s Lando Norris winning the FIA Formula 3 European Championship title ranks among the highlights of 2017. The motorsport brand of TMD Performance GmbH was also successful at the Nürburgring and in TCR competition.

USA: PAGID Racing partners win big in 2017

Successful in the United States: PAGID Racing and its technical partner teams celebrated a combined 30 race wins in the 2017 US sports car racing series IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Pirelli World Challenge (PWC).

Nikko Reger (#1 Copeland Motorsports) scored the $5,000 PAGID Racing Super Pole Award. The Texan set the fastest qualifying lap for the Global Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
